Asha Gummadi, is a Neurological Clinical Specialist practicing in USA for the past 15+ years. Asha currently practices at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, Pennsylvania, where she treats patients requiring rehab from a neurological or vestibular pathology and also mentors’ colleagues. She is the founder of National Geographic Chasing Genius award winning application– Therex Portal. Therex Portal is a web-based application to prescribe home exercises and educate patients in native Indian Languages. Asha has gained most experience in the field of Neuro rehabilitation. Asha is a board certified Neurological Clinical Specialist and holds several advanced certifications to treat patients with neurological injuries viz., Vestibular Rehabilitation a competency Course (Emory University), Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner, Certified Neuro- Ifrah Practitioner. Her clinical areas of interest include Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Vestibular rehabilitation, Gait and Balance Dysfunction
Asha Gummadi is an international speaker, where she lectures on evidence-based practice approaches in neurological rehabilitation, telehealth utilization, policies and procedures for effective telehealth practice, use of patient specific home exercise program to improve clinical outcomes. Asha is passionate about sharing knowledge and mentoring/teaching students and fellow Clinicians, locally and internationally and enjoys spending time with her family.
